There's always a time in someones life when they ask that vital question, "How are we going to start out". For me that answer came from the clothing industry and the formation of my Underground clothing label.
The first thought of Underground came when I was trying to find a way into the automotive market. To enter the market I wanted to start an aftermarket tuning shop, but with no help and little finances, I turned my sights onto the biggest payout industry instead. Clothing could be the answer.
With some help from ECC and EDC, Underground clothing was off to a great start, as they utilized designs from both firms. I made a few introduction products and promoted them when I was out, but with a lack of a storefront, Underground was being held back.
Considering that I had just graduated from business, I set my sights on a store front and armed with a well done business plan I went after the banks. This proved to be a failure as the banks did not like me and my products and Underground was shelved due to a strain on my finances.
My main goal was to restart Underground a year later, after I had saved up some opening money, but again fate intervened and soon I was moving onto my next project. Underground clothing is not dead, as it has always been in the back of my mind. I have tried a few times to improve my product and try again to launch it, but AutoLooks, Ecomm and AutoArt now take up most of my free time. So, for now Underground will have to move back.......well underground.
